Editorial:A Video Game Resource for Parents

I've been working on a small project at http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/Parent_Gaming and I wanted to share it with others that may be interested.

Many video game sites cater to the hardcore video game player and only cover the big name game titles. Nothing wrong with that, but for the more casual game player the information and terminology provided can seem cryptic and confusing. Also with the focus on major titles many smaller titles get reviewed late or not at all.

I wanted to make a site that parents who may not play games much themselves but still want to understand the games their children play. I thought about making a standard website, but there would be no way for me to keep up on every game released if big websites with full staffs can't even pull it off. So I started a wiki where content can be added by anyone.

The Parent Gaming wiki (mini wiki actually) is that project. It's in it's infancy at the moment with little more than a basic framework and only a couple of finished pages. I ask that anyone who would be interested in helping such a project to check out the link above. Any thoughts, opinions or criticism is welcomed. The project is still early so any changes or additions are an easy thing to add at this point.
