"N" is one hell of a free flash. Description of the game in their own words...

"N has been described as reminiscent of lode runner -- you're a little dude running around in a puzzle-y world inhabited by enemies. But in N, there's a twist: the ninja is driven not only by a thirst for gold, but also by a physics simulation. Death, which happens often, is quite animated."

Simple "LoadRunner" type of game of running around collecting points, triggering buttons to open doors, and escaping while avoiding enemies...all before time runs out! It’s a great throw back to 2D platform goodness. You have no weapons or offensive attacks, just your speed and jumping/wall jumping to keep your safe.

When I first played the game, I wasn't digging the physics and control, but then I started to get use to it and later found it wonderful. Part of the game is learning your own abilities and control; knowing if you can make a jump or out run a drone in a small area.

Graphics are very stylized and simple [which works great for this flash game]. The best graphical [and enjoyable] moment of the game is when you die... that is right, dying is fun. Your stick figure Ninja explodes into sticks [limbs] and bounce around the screen. Or, if he doesn't get blown to pieces, his lifeless body might "ragdoll" and fall down the screen hitting obstacles on the way down [with sound effects of limbs breaking]... it's almost comical.

The game comes with 500 levels and a level editor to make your own. The game also lets you upload your runs and scores so others can see how you beat a level. You can also view the top runs on any level thanks to this system.

It's a solid game all around. I can't think of anything negative about it. And according to this post on their forum, N is coming to the Xbox 360. Link below sends you to the download section.
